Credit Card Processing Alternatives

YOUR OPTIONS

TRADITIONAL MERCHANT ACCOUNTS:

You need a merchant account that specializes in the coaching, membership, course etc model.
(this isn’t your local bank).

They need to specify that they are a high risk processor that takes on coaching.

YOU ALSO NEED TO HAVE CLEAN PROCESSING & MARKETING

it does not make sense to jump from processor to processor when you still aren’t compliant or do not have best practices.

Please review my course below for best practices.

email: sara@sarakdaigle.com if you have Qs about options.

HAVING A BACK UP

You need merchant account back ups & a contingency plan.

These would ideally look like 2 traditional merchant accounts and then Stripe or Square as an emergency back up.

BE CAREFUL about immediately switching all your volume over from one provider to another.

Have clear communication with your merchant account provider to help avoid freezes and shutdowns.

AUSTRALIA, CANADA - NON US

Processing for international entities is tricky.

There actually isn’t any processing partners I recommend for Australia, Canada, International for coaching.

Typically these countries would be stuck with Stripe, Square or PayPal. AS YOU CAN TELL, these aren’t my favorite.

If you are serious about your business – I suggest incorporating in the US so you can have a US bank account.

Below are attorneys I recommend to guide you in the process.
